Sandra Elda Olmos

Sandra Elda Olmos, age 66, passed unexpectedly in July 2022 at her home in Corpus Christi, TX. She was born on June 27, 1956 in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Luis and Alicia Olmos and three brothers, Juan Luis, Roy, and Ronnie Olmos.

Sandra was a graduate of Texas A&I University-Kingsville receiving her Masters Degree in Counseling. She was well traveled, and had lived in Corpus Christi, TX, Lahore, Pakistan, Houston, TX, Kayenta, AZ, McCordsville, IN, and Bryan, TX. Sandra was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She was a dedicated elementary teacher and counselor for most of her working life. Sandra enjoyed visiting the library, reading, and a good movie. However, her real joy, was spending time with family.

Sandra is survived by her son Luis Zaman (Heather); sister, Nelda Olmos; brothers, David (Gloria) Olmos, Ruben (Rosie) Olmos, Rudy (Yolanda) Olmos, Rick (Wendy) Olmos; sisters in law, Sandra and Kathy, and many, many nieces, nephews, other extended family, and lifelong friends.

A service to celebrate Sandra's life will be held at St. Patrick Church on Saturday August 6th at 10:00 AM.  A private family farewell will follow.
