Santiago Hernandez, Jr.

Santiago Hernandez Jr. went to be with our Lord and Savior on August 18, 2021.  He was 66 years old.  Santiago, Jr. was born to Santiago and Flora Hernandez in Sinton, Texas on January 8, 1955.  He grew up in Gregory, Texas and was called Jimmy by those who knew him.  Everyone who knew him, knew how much he loved to fish and how well he made BBQ.  He was always the life of the party and his memories will forever be cherished by everyone who loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents Santiago and Flora Hernandez and his sister Gloria Jean Hernandez.

Jimmy leaves behind to cherish his memory three children, Santiago (Kimberly) Hernandez III, Jesse Hernandez and Sueann (Anthony) Huerta, five grandchildren, one great grandchild and his siblings, Gilbert (Elvia) Hernandez, Mary Lou Andrade and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Immaculate Conception Church in Gregory, Texas.  Viewing will begin at 10:00 AM with a Rosary to begin at 11:00 AM.  Holy Mass will follow immediately after the rosary.  Interment will follow at Gregory Cemetery.
