Sherry was born on November 22, 1944 to Helen Boykin and Travis Monroe Boykin. Her parents preceded her in death. She has one surviving sister Lynn Gray and many nieces and nephews.
Those of us who knew Sherry will be thinking of her and holding her close in our hearts forever. Sherry's love for Driscoll Children's Hospital, her staff and patients was always in her heart and first on her mind. Her lifetime goal was to give her best to all by her leadership, teaching and caring at Driscoll for 47 years. Her memories will continue to grow and bloom around us all.
Rest in Peace Your Loving Buddy Glo
A POEM FOR SHERRY
God looked around His garden and found an empty space. He then looked down upon the Earth and found your tired face.
He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful; He always takes the best.
He saw the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb, so He closed your weary eyes and whispered "Peace be thine."
It broke our hearts to lose you but you did not go alone; for part of us went with you the day God called you home.
