Steven Angelo Andreozzi, 73, originally from Warren, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2025. He was the son of Sorzio and Doris Burns Andreozzi, Steve lived a life full of love, adventure, and devotion to his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sorzio and Doris, and leaves behind his beloved wife of over 52 years, Pamela (Francis) Andreozzi, whom he married on April 15, 1972. Steve was a proud father and is survived by his two children, daughter Patricia Pursche and her husband Paul Pursche (West Warwick, RI) and son, Steven Andreozzi, Jr. and his wife Jennifer (Dayville, CT), and his brothers Sorzio Andreozzi (Fulton, TX) and Scott Andreozzi (Milford, CT) and his many in-laws, nieces and nephews. Steve cherished his role as a grandfather and great-grandfather. His grandchildren, Danielle Burns and Seth Perry, and his great-grandchildren, Russell III, and Lilith Burns, were his pride and joy and he adored every moment spent with them in the summer months.
Steve was a man of many passions. Alongside his wife, Pamela, he spent many years traveling the country in their camper and on their motorcycle, making memories with many friends and creating lasting relationships across the country. In 2012, they decided to make a new home in Fulton on the Gulf Coast of Texas, leaving behind their longtime roots in Rhode Island. This move was a reflection of Steve's love for new experiences and his ability to embrace life's changes with optimism and excitement. He also had a deep love for old cowboy movies and was known to spend hours enjoying the classic films that held a special place in his heart. His love for animals, particularly his dogs, was also a defining part of his life, and he cherished both the past and present companions who brought him joy.
Steve will be remembered for his generous spirit and his unwavering dedication to his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will continue to warm the hearts of those who knew him.
A private memorial service will be held in his honor in the near future. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a local animal shelter in Steve's memory, as he had a lifelong love for animals.
Steve's memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.y
