Steven Rivera

Steven Rivera, of Corpus Christi,Texas, peacefully passed away, November 12, 2024.

He was born January 23, 1973, to Ruben and Aurora Rivera in Salinas, California.

Steven spent most of his youth in Corpus Christi, Texas, and his final years in Billings, Montana.

Steven was a loving father, brother, uncle, son and friend. He genuinely cared for everyone and adored all of his "critters."

Steven had a special gift of connecting with others. Joking and making people laugh was his way. His laughter was infectious, and he had a remarkable talent for making others feel at ease and appreciated. With his warm smile or a hilarious joke, he could brighten even the darkest days. All who knew him knew that he enjoyed a good meal and always insisted on a memorable group photo.

Steven's unwavering faith in God was evident in everything he did. He believed that love and trust in God could overcome any obstacle. He instilled these values to his children and demonstrated them to all who crossed his path. He often reminded us that no matter how difficult life may seem, there is always a reason to hope and a way to find joy. "Lord willing" was his statement of choice, as he was always grateful to be given another day.

He will be greatly missed by all.

Steven is survived by his four children-Stephanie Rivera (Jared), Steven Rivera Jr .(Tasia), Ruben Rivera (Lakia) & Gabriel Rivera, his mother- Aurora Rivera and his siblings- Ray Rivera, Maria Rivera Harless & Aaron Rivera.

He is preceded in death by his father- Ruben Rivera.

As per Steven's request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.

May we all strive to honor Steven's memory by loving one another, trusting in God, and "keep on truckin'!"

Rest in peace, dear Steven, your spirit will forever shine brightly in our hearts. Until we meet again. "Carpe Diem".
