Susan Francis Schatzinger was born August 7, 1948 went home to the Lord on September 24th 2024.
She preferred to be called Sue and was affectionately known as "Momo." She was a loving mother, a great friend, and, overall, special person. She had two daughters, and she openly expressed her proudness often, four grandchildren, Shai, Phillip, Camden, and Brayden and, five great grandchildren.
She was known to be a shy woman, and her personality blossomed when she was in the classroom teaching special needs children. She loved her career and was known to create "out of the box" teaching methods to help her students succeed.
Sue's light shone through her art. Some of her favorite things to create were hand carved Belter Victorian furniture, jewelry and crocheted animals and octopi created for newborn infants.
She had an unwavering love of animals. Her pets were too many to name and she loved each one of them equally. Her most recent baby is Keko, her parrot. He now resides with her daughter Tina.
Sue will be remembered fondly by all those who met her. Her daughters will forever be grateful that they know she is cradled in the hands of the Lord and is free of all earthly pains and grievances. She'll be remembered most for her ability to love deeply and forgive openly.
If you would like to join her celebration of life, please contact Dena or Tina for the celebration of life time and date.
