Travis Boring

Travis Boring was born on October 1, 1987 in National City, California, to Donn and Michelle Boring and passed away on August 14, 2022 in Portland, Texas. He passed away unexpectedly from complications following a shooting at his place of work, P.F. Changs while saving the lives of the staff and customers in the building at the time.

Travis was best known for his passion for cooking and love of darts. His favorite part of the day was coming home to get "HUGGIES" from his puppy Marti and spending time with his wife Trisha and daughter Kamryn. He loved coming up with new concoctions in the kitchen while watching the Texas Longhorns play, as well as watching A Christmas Story every Christmas day on repeat, listening to his favorite comedians, binge watching the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise as well as the Back to the Future series, going so far as to name his puppy Marti after Marty McFly. When he isn't getting himself locked up in Facebook jail he is bugging his little sister for homemade baked goods.

Travis is preceded in death by his Great Grandfather Joe Swift, Grandmother Audrey Costain, Uncle Joseph Costain, and cousin James Costain.

Travis is survived by his wife, Trisha Themis, children Kamryn Themis, Emily Boring and Dezmond Connolly, parents: Donn and Michelle Boring, sisters: Kayla Boring and Cassandra (Tyler) Monney. Along with his grandparents: Shirley, Ross and Dixie Boring, Aunt Candi Costain, and cousins: Josh and Dana Haney, Jacob and Danielle Costain, and Shawn Temple, in addition to numerous more family members and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held on September 10, 2022 with location and time to be announced at a later date.
