Tyrone Tix, 55, passed away on March 16, 2022, in Corpus Christi, TX.
Tyrone Tix was born on April 3, 1966 in Bozeman, MT, to Thomas Tix and Eileen Tix.
Tyrone graduated from Manhattan High School in 1985. Tyrone was a jack of all trades, but primarily worked construction and had his own painting and drywall business in Anchorage Alaska.
At the time of his death, he had retired from construction and was driving a pilot car (known as a steer man) for a transportation company delivering wind turbine blades. He was known as a "fixer" which got him the nick name "Tinker Ty"
Tyrone had been married twice and was in a relationship with Christina Clemmons at the time of his death. Tyrone is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas "Jim" Tix and Eileen Marie Tix. He is survived by his son Jesse Smith, his four brothers, Tom, Tony, Todd, Troy and his trusty sidekick, a German Shepard named Shiloh.
Tyrone was best known for his love of the outdoors which he got from his father. Ty was very talented and had at one time restored an Chevy El Camino. He had an attention to detail that enabled him to exceed in the construction business and had a reputation for getting projects back on track.
A memorial is being planned for Tyrone in Manhattan Montana on August 21st, 2022. Plans are still being finalized at this time.
