Valee, also known as Wally, was born on September 22, 1944. She was of Thai descent born in the country of Thailand.
Valee was a devoted wife to Robert Quijas for 40 years. They met in Japan where he was stationed with the US Air Force. After retirement, they made their home in Corpus Christi, TX. She also was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend.
Valee was known for her love of cooking great Asian food and sharing it with
everyone. It brought a big smile to her face to see everyone enjoying her food. She loved family celebrations, especially dancing to her favorite song Caribbean Queen and gathering with her Thai friends. Every few years she would go back to Thailand to see her family and it was always a joy to her to see them. She would come back with many stories, pictures and souvenirs. She loved everyone dearly.
