William Stephen Murdock III, 65, passed away on January 13, 2023, in Corpus Christi, Texas. William a.k.a. Billy was born on February 23, 1957 in Buffalo, NY, to William Murdock Jr. and Lila Murdock-Pac. As a young adult, Billy moved to Texas, where he lived out the rest of his days.
He found work at chemical plants and excelled for quite some time. He met the love of his life Ethel, on his birthday (which would make it quite hard to forget any anniversaries). Eventually, a serious back injury on the job led Billy to hang up the hard hat and spend more time at home. Above the rest, he loved to fish, many memories shared with others involved fishing. He appreciated good old rock music, his favorite band being Metallica. In contrast to his rugged and tough exterior, Billy had a kind and gentle soul. He cared for all of God's creations, especially dogs. He would feed and home any stray he encountered. Even though he didn't have much, he would gladly give you the shirt off his back. He will be missed dearly.
William is preceded in death by Lila Murdock-Pac - mother, William Murdock Jr. - father. William is survived by Troy Lively - son, Elyn White - daughter, Catherine Wood - Sister (Brian), Joseph Pac - Brother. William is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and grandchildren. Family and friends will gather later in the year to honor Billy's life.
