William Gregg Stewart

William Gregg Stewart, 58 , of Corpus Christi, TX, died March 27th 2024 peacefully holding the hand of his wife, Irma Lee Stewart.

Gregg Stewart was born on September 3, 1965 in Tarrant County, TX, to William George " Bud" Stewart and Karen Stewart Daniels. Gregg graduated from LD Bell High School in 1984 and went on to earn his bachelors degree in Science and Technical Management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University.

Gregg went on to serve in the United States Navy from April 3, 1986- August 31, 2010. After serving 24 years in the United States Navy, he retired as a Chief Warrant Officer 3. Gregg also worked for Corpus Christi Army Depot for 12 years, and was recognized for 36 years of Government service .

Gregg married Irma Lee Stewart December 30, 2011, in Corpus Christi, TX. The couple had 5 children, Grant Stewart, Warren Stewart, Bryan Valdez, Brandon Valdez, and Bethany Walker.

Gregg was best known for being an amazing husband, father, grandfather, and friend to all. He enjoyed hanging by the pool, listening to music, and sitting in his chair surrounded by his grandchildren, Bruce Valdez, Valentina Valdez, Penelope Polanco, Kyara Alverado, and Bryanna Garcia. Best papa Ever!

Gregg is survived by his best friend and love of his life Irma Lee Stewart, his sister Lisa Stephens and her husband Billy Stephens and two nephews, Brad and Taylor Stephens.

Gregg is preceded in death by William George " Bud" Stewart and Karen Stewart Daniels.

The memorial service for Gregg Stewart will be held at the Coastal Bend State Veteran Cemetery on Friday April 12, 2024 at 10:00 AM.
