Xander Gabriel Robledo, 22, peacefully went to be with our Lord, on April 27th, 2024.
We have lost a beautiful soul on this earth, but we have gained a more beautiful Angel in Heaven.
Xander loves his dog Dobie and loved to help others. He worked alongside his mother for their shared business (A&X Co.) as a carpenter/painter and general contractor. He was able to help provide his services to the Corpus Christi Housing Authority and Affiliates, up until the discovery of his illness. He gave back to the community and helped to provide a safe and renewed living space for several potential families.
He is preceded in death by his father Roland Gonzalo Robledo Jr., his maternal grandfather Doroteo M. Rosalez Jr., his maternal uncle Carlos Rosalez, his paternal great-grandparents Gonzalo (Sara) Robledo, his maternal great grandparents Doroteo(Manuela) Rosalez Sr.
Left to cherish the treasured memories of Xander is his mother, April Ann Rosalez, his maternal grandmother Guadalupe F. Rosalez, his paternal grandmother Teresita Robledo, his paternal grandfather Roland Robledo, his paternal aunt Elizabeth (Monica) Musella-Robledo, his maternal aunt Gloria(Gabriel) Mendez, his paternal uncle Roger Allen Robledo, his maternal uncle and several great aunts and uncles, cousins and baby cousins. He loves you always Mia, Alexander, Ruben, Isabella, Christopher, Angel, Matt, Rosie, Bella,LJ, Zara, Julius, Aiden, Nathaniel, ShyAnna, Deanna(Jose), Jaron(Sonia), AJay(Brenda), Serina.
Let it be known that cancer did not beat Xander! At the end of his battle- it had not taken his hope, nor his kindness, nor his selflessness, and most definitely not his smile. He fought for every minute of every day with grace and dignity. His strength and determination was witnessed by all whom he encountered throughout his journey. Let us CELEBRATE and rejoice him! For he has gone to rest high up on that mountain and his soul is now free and at peace.
Thank you to ALL who offered us your loving thoughts and prayers; they were received. A special thank you to the 7th CT floor at Methodist Children's Hospital in San Antonio, and BMT/HEMOC clinic for the care and compassion given by all staff and clinicians. Each of you treated us with nothing but love and kindness in our darkest hours. You all were there with us every step of the way, fighting along side us. May God bless you all and give you the continued strength to keep doing what you do.
